Hibiscus
Hibiscus flowers (Hibisci flori) are large pink flowers of the hibiscus bush and are also called marshmallow. The hibiscus belongs to the mallow family and originally comes from tropical and subtropical regions such as Asia. The brightly coloured flowers are ideal for making tea. The bright red hibiscus tea is also known as karkady in Arab and oriental countries. The taste of hibiscus tea is reminiscent of fruity cranberries and is often served as a cold refreshing summer drink.
