The raspberry bush is native to Europe, America and parts of Asia. It reaches a height of up to 2 metres and is covered with fine spines. Between May and August the flowers and the aggregate fruits (berries) are in bloom. The raspberry leaves are the leaves of the raspberry bush (lat. rubus ideaus). Raspberry leaves can be used to prepare a fruity-tasting herbal tea, which is also ideal as a companion for fasting cures. The tea is full of tannins and has a slightly tart taste.
