Cocos
The coconut palm (Cocos nucifera) is a tropical palm plant and has been cultivated for 3000 years. The coconut originated on a tropical group of islands in Indonesia. The word coconut comes from the ancient Greek ??????, which means "kernel". However, the coconut is not a real nut, but a single-seeded drupe. A coconut palm grows up to 30 metres high and needs a lot of sun and water to thrive.
