Reishi
Reishi mushrooms have a magical meaning. In China, for example, it is a symbol of long life and good luck. In China, the reishi mushroom is revered as an herb. There it is also called "herb with spiritual power", "ten-thousand-year mushroom" or vital mushroom. The Chinese name is Ling Zhi and means "spirit plant" or "divine mushroom of immortality". The yellowish red fruiting body consists of a 5-20cm high cap. The Reishi mushroom is distributed worldwide and grows in temperate and Mediterranean regions.
