Tulsi
Tulsi (Ocimum Tenuiflorum) is a herbaceous plant that grows up to one metre high. Tulsi is known as the Indian basil, which means "holy basil" in Sanskrit; it is very closely related to our native basil. Tulsi is native to tropical and subtropical areas in Asia and is popularly used in Ayurvedic nutrition as a tea. The scent of the Asian plant resembles a mixture of cinnamon, aniseed and cloves, this scent effectively repels mosquitoes and attracts bees and bumblebees.
