Organic cassava flour
Cassava has the botanical name Manihot esculenta and is a useful plant from the spurge family and has been cultivated for thousands of years. The cassava bush grows in tropical areas such as South America, Asia and Africa. Cassava is not suitable for raw consumption because the root contains prussic acid. However, the acid is removed during flour production and can therefore be consumed without hesitation. Manioc flour has a strong binding capacity and is suitable as a gluten-free flour substitute.
