MCT is the abbreviation for medium chain fatty acids "medium chain triglycerides". MCT fats are broken down faster than long-chain fatty acids and are absorbed independently of bile acids and enzymes. The unfiltered, natural oil from coconuts tastes mild and neutral, which is why it is ideal for taking in drinks, yoghurt and smoothies. It contains an optimal ratio of caprylic acid (octanoic acid) and capric acid (decanoic acid) in a ratio of 70:30. Suitable for the ketogenic diet and is vegan and palm oil-free.
The Biotiva almond flour is made from almonds from controlled ecological cultivation, which are ground gently. Almond flour is enjoying increasing popularity in the kitchen due to its mild, nutty taste. The flour is also ideal as a gluten-free substitute product. Our Biotiva almond flour provides a protein content of over 20% and has a high proportion of fatty acids and fiber.
