Only fully matured highland beans from Chiapas in Mexico are carefully processed by hand and gently roasted for a long time at low temperatures: for an overwhelming fullness of aroma.
The Arabica coffee beans come from the Finca El Chorro. It has been owned by the Schallit family for years. The finca strives for a permanent balance between biodiversity, the permanent improvement of living and working conditions on the finca and the cultivation of very high quality highland Arabica beans. This finca has been supplying their green coffee for this roast for more than 10 years.
