Cumin wohle Organic
Cumin or caraway seeds? What is the difference between the two? Even though both varieties are similar, they have little in common in terms of taste. While the seeds are used for cumin, the fruits are used for cumin. Cumin has an intense, unmistakable flavour that comes from the cuminaldehyde contained in the essential oil.
This spice is also called cumin and has the botanical name Cuminum cyminum. The name is derived from the cross-shaped leaf position as well as the cumin-like appearance of the dried fruit.
